Candidate Write-Back using Bindbee

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to create a connector with Bindbee and write back a candidate using it.

Step 1: Navigate to the Create Connector option.

Step 2: Enter the name of your customer, for example, Vegan Industries.

Step 3: Select a category, in this case, ATS.

Image

Step 4: Choose a unique ID and confirm it's correct.

Step 5: Click on Next.

Image

Step 6: Choose to write back the candidate to your customer's ATS, which is Workable in this example.

Step 7: Select Workable.

Image

Step 8: Click on Create Link.

Image

Step 9: Enter the necessary credentials into the link.

Step 10: Log into your Workable account and select the hub domain, for instance, Wayne Industries.

Step 11: Enter the hub domain into the magic link.

Step 12: Proceed to the next steps.

Step 13: Generate an API key in Workable.

Step 14: Navigate to Settings in the top right corner.

Step 15: Click on the Integrations tab.

Step 16: Scroll down and click on Apps.

Step 17: Click on Generate an API token.

Step 18: Name the integration.

Image

Step 19: Set an expiry date.

Image

Step 20: Select the scopes of the integration.

Step 21: Choose all available models.

Step 22: Generate the token.

Step 23: Copy the token and enter it into the magic theme.

Step 24: Click on Connect.

Step 25: Verify that the integration with Workable ATS of Wayne Industries is created.

Step 26: Go back to Bindbee and navigate to Connectors.

Step 27: Check that the Wayne Industries connector has been created.

Step 28: Wait for the data to sync.

Image

Step 29: Once the data is synced, navigate to Bindbee's documentation.

Step 30: Go to the ATS model and select Candidate.

Step 31: Create a new job in Workable.

Image

Step 32: Name the job, for example, NTO, and set it as an onsite job.

Step 33: Enter the location, such as Bangalore.

Image

Step 34: Write a job description.

Image

Step 35: Save and publish the job.

Image

Step 36: Go back to the documentation and click on Get Jobs.

Step 37: Test the API.

Image

Step 38: Enter the connector token for Wayne Industries.

Step 39: Send the request.

Image

Step 40: Resync the connector from the connector screen.

Image

Step 41: Wait for the job to sync.

Image

Step 42: Send the request again.

Step 43: Select the job ID for which you want to write back the candidates.

Step 44: Save the job ID.

Image

Step 45: Go to the Create Candidate endpoint.

Step 46: Enter the connector token for Wayne Industries.

Step 47: Enter the application ID.

Image

Step 48: Enter the candidate's email address.

Image

Step 49: Enter a random job ID.

Image

Step 50: Enter the candidate's last name.

Image

Step 51: Send the request.

Image

Step 52: Wait for the candidate to be created successfully.

Step 53: Go to your Workable instance and check the candidate section.
