Create and Test a Connector with Bindbee

This guide explains how to create and test a connector using the Bindbee dashboard.

Creating a Connector

Step 1: Open the Bindbee dashboard and select Create Connector in the main dashboard.

Step 2: Choose the type of connector to create.

Step 3: Enter all the customer details for whom the integration is being built. Write the testing demo and select the category of integration to build. In this case, it's HRIS. Enter a unique ID to describe the connector being built.

Step 4: Click Next and select the integration to build. In this case, it's a Rippling integration.

Step 7: Click Create Link to generate a magic link for the end customer.

Step 8: Click Open Link and enter all the required credentials for creating the API.

Step 9: Copy the API key retrieved for the integration and paste it in the required field.

Step 10: Go back to the dashboard and refresh the connector section. The newly created connector should be visible.

Step 11: Click on the new connector to check its status. If it's in the syncing stage, it means it's currently syncing data from the Rippling sandbox. Once the connector is synced, you can get data from the APIs.

Accessing Synced Data

Step 1: To access the synced data, go to the documentation and select HRIS.

Step 2: Go to the Employee section and select Get Employees and API.

Step 3: Copy the access token from the Bindbee dashboard and paste it in the required field.

Step 4: In the header section, enter the connector token for the Rippling integration. This can be found in the connector section of the dashboard.

Step 5: Click Send to retrieve all the synced data from the Rippling dashboard.

With these steps, it's possible to access all the synced data.
